When I went camping at air force beach, my dad invited his friend to come over and bring his trailer. When they got there a boy my age came out of the van. His dad introduced him to me and we started to explore the beach. After a few days we became close friends and he invited me to go to his trailer for a sleep over. His dad told us a really frustrating and weird story I ever heard. It goes something like this.
Centuries ago, a rich king went to find a man who could see glimpses of the future. When he found him, he predicted : Television, man would walk on the moon, world war 1, world war 2, and the most frighting… world war 3. It happened in 2015. There were more high tech weapons, and every Canadian and American man had to go fight.
It kept me thinking all night long “What if that story is true? What if my dad and I would have to go to war in 7 years?
What do you think?

My friend and I were playing in a tree when my friends dad came and told him to come home for super. On my way down my ancle twisted and got caught between a branch. My friend was already out of the trees so he couldn’t here me yelling. As I was taking of my shoe to slide my throbing foot out between the branch when a black lone coyote came into view. I tried so hard not to move but my shoe decided it HAD to fall at that moment. the coyote looked up and started to growl. I knew it couldnt have climbed up the tree so I just waited till it lost interest and ran off deeper into the woods. 10 minutes later I decided that I couldnt stay so I climed down grabed my shoe and a pointy stick and ran back to my house and told my parents about my close encounter with a coyote.

1. When walking in the woods and see a bear, don’t run cause bears run almost as fast as a freight train. Just walk backwards very slowly to let it know your not a threat.
2. When fishing for salmon, use a Buzz Bomb and Zinger.
3. If you are lost in the woods, follow this survival pattern;
- First Aid- take care of yourself if you are hurt
- Fire- make a fire for warmth
- Shelter- you can build a brush lean too with evergreen boughs
- Signals- use evergreen boughs to throw on your fire if you hear a plane over head, it creates alot of smoke.
- Food and Water- if you have wire, you can make snares for rabbits, and if there is a stream near buy
- collect your water from where it is running over rocks. You can also boil your waterto make sure it is safe to drink.
4. Wear the proper clothing for your outdoor activities, and use the layering method so you can add or take off clothes when you get cold or too hot.

On Remembrance Day, our class did an art project of a war scene. In my picture I did a picture of D-Day (or Dooms Day) In my picture, boats are bringing in soldiers. When one of the boats door opened the bunker opened fire on it and most the men were slaughtered. The man thinking of this is in Flanders Field. In the picture, mortar bombs are exploding.
Remember those who fought for our country.
Lest we forget.

Running through the front lines
Emerging from the trenches
Mines exploding, men screaming
Exploding grenades and bombs
Machine guns fire at the Germans
Bleeding from bullet holes
Ended November 11 1918
Remember those who died to protect our country

Look at My Water Wise Video! OR ELSE! Just kidding.
Three people in our class were chosen to have there videos on Shaw Cable! But, my video wasn’t chosen. But that’s OK! I was just making the video because where I live… people are water hogs! Feel free to look at my video and think of what you can do to be more water wise where you live!
Stay tuned for my next post!

At school our class had to preform safety skits For Trick-Or-Treating. We had to show these skits in front of the grade ones, twos, and threes. I wasn’t too nervous cause most of them were my friend’s brothers and sisters.
Our skit was about manners, so we showed a bad example then went back in time to fix our mistakes. When it was almost our turn to go up, I noticed I forgot my trick-or-treat bag in the classroom! I shot out of the door and went zipping down the hallways. Oh, but lucky me, my classroom was at the other end of the school. When I came back I was expecting my partners to be stalling and waiting for me, but I forgot that my group was last to go up!! I was so angry at myself! When it was our turn, we went up and preformed, sat back down, and that’s that.

Trick-or-treat! Smell my feet! No, really.
Anyway, lets talk about the past and future costumes belonging to, yours truly… ME!! As far as I can remember, my first costume was a lion. (OOOOHHHH So scary). My absolute favourite costume was in 2007… A torn apart dead dude MWA HA HA!
OK back to reality, this one year I was Darth Vader, but the saber was really annoying. The funniest costume I saw was cat woman, only this cat had a 5 foot tongue! The one I want most is a headless horseman, because I have always wanted to wear a pumpkin on my head!
Stay tuned for my next post… if you dare MWA HA HA!

1. When you see a tree rocking back and forth and its not windy, its usually a bear scratching his/her back.
2. Since animals are color blind, best to wear camouflage.
3. Did you know that one of the most ferocious animals on earth is the male deer? When mad or annoyed the buck will charge, horns first, then will kick you.

1. when fishing with a jig, bounce your rod up and down, which makes the fish think its alive.
2. If you are out in the woods and here a big sneeze, its just a deer clearing its nose to smell better.
3. When running and you get a cramp, usually its best to run faster and it should go away.
4. When trying to sneak up on something, try to hold your breath or breath slowly, crouch, and don’t step on anything that will make noise.
5. when lost in the wood and very hungery, find a sharp stick, a stream or river, and try to catch a fish, make a fire and cook it.
